The arts are an important part of a well rounded MLCA education. Sufficient data exists to overwhelmingly support the belief that study and participation in the fine arts is a key component in improving learning throughout all academic areas.
At Makua Lani, students have the opportunity to explore the power of visual communication. They learn skills and techniques from teachers who are artists themselves with multiple years of experience in book illustration, painting, drawing, and sculpting to name a few.
Whether our students have a particular talent or passion as a hobby or as a possible career choice, we will help guide and nurture their path. We strive to cultivate individual creativity through the study of art history, technique, and presentation as a reflection of the nature of God, the ultimate Creator.
